  8. I'm entirely with you. But I check in every once in a while and I notice Carlson is slowly walking back his position. I don't think it was even sincere in the first place. I think he simply wanted to deny Dems any increase in public approval in the run-up to the election, fearful that Republican gains in popularity would be wiped out before getting their chance to be realized on November 8. On the whole I want rather more integrity in my pundits and I doubt my regard for him can ever be the same.
