@NOLAgenX Interesting, but the reporter stated 200 in Lacombe, giving the population as 7,000. So do you think that was wrong?

@NOLAgenX Ah yes, the OP's mistake was right under my nose and I didn't see it.

@supershayloman961 If you look at govt. expenditures as a percentage of GDP, Canada's not that much higher than the US (41% vs. 36% in 2022 according to the IMF). For really high taxes look anywhere else in the developed world, except for Switzerland and Japan.

How many centimeters long can false eyelashes be? At the corners they reach her eyebrows. Wow. I think that's entering decisively into comic territory. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.😄

@sullivan912 I accept your criticism and should have known better, since I did already know that Ireland's GDP is vastly bloated by its tax-haven arrangements. That distorts the picture of how large the government is and how much it must tax the people. (I looked at government expenditures as a percentage of GDP and took that as a proxy for personal tax rates.) My mistake, and I will edit the word Ireland out.

@Marshall_EL34 All this "as high as" business is exactly why I didn't go there. That adds up to 74% and doesn't even count municipal taxes.🙄 Such a joke. But I can understand why someone with an axe to grind would do it automatically: it efficiently avoids the low- and mid-range households, helping to make a biased point.

I love how the mayor claimed in her filing that the woman was using the pictures to "weaponize my character," as though weaponize is a synonym for attack. 🙄 The mayor, whatever diploma(s) she may claim to have, is not an educated person, nor intelligent, nor qualified. Classic case of a scammer who Didn't Earn It.

Slightly over half of all students admitted to law schools in this century have been female. Even 50 years ago it was one-quarter. (It's now nearing 60% annually.) Assuming the judge is a man is statistically nowhere near justified, even as a generality. The way men have beaten up on for so long, I figure if you give it enough time there might not be any.
