Why do you say that? He's a rich businessman with concerns about politics. He's nauseated by his fellow business people who've cynically teamed up with political activists and politicians and are a threat to the future of the sort of society and the values he espouses. I think he's sincere, truthful and very bright.

Even if the book were available for free, he wants it to be read. When you write a book you put everything inside you into it, so compared to what you can say in five minutes in an interview it's got a much fuller representation of you and your thought in it. This guy doesn't need a few more dollars; he's already very wealthy. At this point he's interested in persuasion. There's no ulterior motive.

@Wypipo Gracious response to @J Hitchcock.

He does talk about the ideas. But it's impossible to sum up hundreds of pages in a few minutes. If he wants people to really hear what he has to say, he's got to suggest they read his full explication of his ideas. "Writing ideas into a book is not the interesting part." What? You wouldn't say that if you ever wrote a book. (Or ever read many good ones, I daresay.)

@jbagger331 Really? Come on, T, where'd you get that from?

You can figure it out if you try. It isn't terribly complex or involved to grasp the essence of it.

@Wypipo Oh yeah, everybody's talking about it. Incredible buzz.
