@CarlosOjeda-ig3zw From Canada, rooting for you guys with all my heart. Viva Milei!🇦🇷 Viva Argentina!🇦🇷 ... y Viva Malbec!🍷😄 (I now buy only Argentinian wine, and always urge others to do the same.)

I think he's the coolest national leader in my lifetime. I now drink only Argentinian wine. (Luckily it's not expensive and tastes fantastic.) Viva Milei!🇦🇷 Viva Argentina!🇦🇷 ... y viva Malbec!🍷🤣

@mnml Correct. Imagine being on the same side of anything as Noam Chomsky.😮

@reySaw0000 Sadly, I expect that's accurate. They're the same everywhere.

I'm gonna say 2011. (That amounts to a confession. Occupied with life, I didn't pay much attention for around ten years, so it ended up taking me until 2017.)

@holii2483 Bad reply. 1) "Milei obtained an economics degree (licentiate) from the private University of Belgrano and two master's degrees from the Instituto de Desarrollo Económico y Social and the private Torcuato di Tella University." [italics mine] 2) "In Argentina, the Licentiate degree (Spanish: Licenciatura), by which one becomes a licenciado, is a four to six-year degree with a required final thesis defence.[9] Upon competition of the licentiate degree the student may be eligible to apply for a postgraduate degree such as a master or doctorate.[10]" (Both from the same source, the most popular on-line reference work in the world.)

🙄 She had the country's largest journalistic stage at the New York Times! I used to read her pieces five or six years ago and believe me, she's one of the people who got us into this sorry situation. In fairness, she was closer to the political center than most of her colleagues dared reveal themselves to be, but she certainly never came out saying anything like DEI must end! She was often critical of The Times' and the left's worst excesses, I'll give her that.

@twelvecatsinatrenchcoat No, it's not that. The segregation appears to be permanent. It almost looks like a way of allowing more 'controversial' remarks to be made while discouraging and suppressing them at the same time. Somewhat like a bookstore with a small taboo section at the back, shabbier than the front section, poorly lit and dustier, maybe inviting a little bit of shame. Not really but almost.

Criminal justice reform = Bad as we wanna be

So take this opportunity to upgrade your notion of loveliness. You should never have the same one you had ten years earlier or you're not learning anything.

He's just d um b.

@eriklehnsherr5169 Yeah, that actually needs toning down now that I see it again. More like "she wouldn't go as far as most of her colleagues."

@eriklehnsherr5169 "often critical of The Times' and the left's worst excesses"

Jesus Christ himself would be "indicted of embezzlement" if he were resurrected into Putin's Russia and dared speak his mind about its tyrant. That's if he weren't shot dead on a sidewalk or poisoned with the tip of an umbrella. You make us laugh by pointing to state charges.🤣

@williamrockwell9705 Ah, "LOL" — the perennial favourite of 11-year-olds everywhere. But it does not, alas, make un-funny things funny.

@LiveFreeOrDie76 I definitely hear you, felt the same way until recently and I still have reservations about her. But I've decided that she deserves a lot of credit for acknowledging what's in front of her eyes. There's a shortage of people of that sort, and as a rule I'm fine with anyone who improves. As I understand it not many of these people become a lot more moderate. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

@memodev 👍Tienes razón. Eso es solo un metrónomo de Izquierdista. Tick tock, tick tock... [👍You're correct. That's just some Izquierdista metronome. Tick tock, tick tock...]

To my way of thinking De Santis is most of the way there. He is anti-woke, wants less govt., is passionate about freedom, and is quite eager to make bold moves. His track record in Florida is strong. Although he dropped out, he did lead the race for a while and will be back next time.

Vain people who tired of their vanity.

Simply a mirage, counting economic devastation as economic activity. Russia's "economy" is now just Putin Inc. Hollowed out, everything being poured into the military. The North Koreanization of Russia continues. Prosperity destroyed.

Enlightenment values are massively antithetical to the values which preceded them down through the ages. When one considers this, and looks at the strength of the part of the world which is unimpressed by or outright hostile to Enlightenment values, it becomes easy to see such values as a fragile aberration and ripe for fairly sudden obliteration. They can look like the Weimar Republic of value schemes.

Leftism attracts really messed-up people, or at the very least attracts people by answering to their most messed-up needs. No well-adjusted and solid person will go near it, although one who's mainly good but profoundly bizarre might possibly. In summary, one may regard it as a Psychologist's Wonderland.

DEI is systemic racism.

@richardwillford2418 He fills me with great revulsion. His disciples I like much less.
