  3. Always be careful assuming Russians are the same as us. There's a strong feudalistic streak that still runs through their ethos. They were cut off from Western civilization for long stretches of time and were somewhat connected with Central Asia and the East instead. The modern Western temperament, culture and thought are reasonably well known and understood by them, but they haven't made them their own yet. Still far from it. So I hope you're right about what you said, but I doubt it.

  4. While the EU's refugee policy is in my opinion highly dubious, no one forced Hungary to join the EU. Likewise NATO. It applied to these organizations for membership. If it no longer finds belonging suits it, perhaps it's time to simply withdraw. Or maybe it should just be annexed by Slovenia.😂At last it would no longer be landlocked.
