If wokesters call one a bad name — except in a terribly rare instance when it's deserved — one ought to wear it proudly as a badge of honour. Period. It's ordinarily evidence that one is clear-eyed, sane, and has zivilcourage (Ger.: the guts to uphold one's convictions despite social risks).

Opening two sentences of the Quillette entry on the ironically-named RationalWiki site: "Quillette is a far-right 'academic' online magazine that tries to present itself as centrist and libertarian, when in reality it serves to legitimize and propagate many views shared by the alt-right. For example, Quillette regularly publishes wingnuttery-laden articles from a strongly conservative and reactionary viewpoint that are anti-feminist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, homophobic, and transphobic, with several articles outright endorsing racialism and HBD ("human-biodiversity") eugenicist pseudoscience, popular among white nationalists and Neo-N[---]s." And the author of that toxic claptrap no doubt feels that he or she is an intellectual of a very high order. Ms. Lehmann, please make an effort to expunge that nonsense from the entry.

Sha me on anyone who got behind him in the total absence of a track record of accomplishment, of actions to back up his nebulous so-called positions. One other thing, regarding his 'honeymoon' period: according to Angus Reid data, his approval rating went net negative in 2017, jangled around indecisively for six months or so, and never resurfaced in positive territory, save for a few months early in the 2020-22 "health event." In other words, his honeymoon period ended just shy of two full years, well before 2019.

This is like a video called "How a House Burns Down, Explained by Fire Investigators." My point is, the house burned down and it was a huge tragedy for whoever lived there. Who cares how it happened, apart from fire investigators? It's gone for good.
