Meanwhile Teslas are not only safe in absolute terms, they're also safer than those of the competition. The media's issue is that Tesla's CEO owns a social media company which doesn't censor users according to their political leanings, but instead according to a uniformly-applied set of rules. This means that, as Canada's Trudeau would say, "He holds unacceptable fringe views." Also, he publicly switched his lifelong personal political allegiance about 21 months ago. Again, unacceptable fringe views. So the media and US govt. are simply doing what one does to an unacceptable fringe: they're persecuting it. Mind you, all this is just what I think is a fuller description of the situation. In my view you did frame things correctly.👍Thanks.

I've observed something striking: The officers give off less authoritarian attitude than even many health care workers and store employees, who are often quite bossy and condescending on the least pretext or none at all. The idea of "defunding" them for brutality strikes me as palpably absurd.
