  2. And now what's needed is an expansion of this model and its aesthetic. Let it somehow be spread by identifying like-minded politicians, bureaucrats and developers who, though in the minority, are out there. I would say the way forward would be a conference, or rather a series of them. I'm not sure whether the King should take part or even be invited. It might be better if the Poundbury model were seen to stand entirely on its own two feet as a show of its viability. Thanks for this pleasant, inspiring and hope-giving presentation. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
