  3. 1) How on earth is a carjacking a "crime of opportunity"? Unbelievable. 2) So this kid had no criminal record. I'm pretty sure that's because he was just never caught, because I'm pretty sure this wasn't his first rodeo.

  4.  @robertmarley8852   If what you mean by guidance is community leadership (i.e., elites) then you're telling me what I'm telling you, in which case it's good we agree. Because any human society will do all right if it has solid elites. Without them it has zero chance. Concerning money, how did Vietnamese boat people refugees do it? Impoverished immigrants from a wide variety of African countries? Tremendously disadvantaged people from a hundred lands who showed up on their last legs without a dime, spoke no English, etc. etc.? It's not money. A broken people with money is still a broken people.
