It's a widespread point of view, because stupidity is widespread. Stupidity and sanctimony. (Sanctimony: saying things so you can pose as a morally superior person.) Ironically, these people are one of the worst things about society. 😆

  6. Same thing in academia. How are dumb people supposed to have stellar academic careers if universities demand all professors be smart? That would be social injustice.
