  1. Do not believe the petrodollar hype. Saudi Arabia will go right on selling the overwhelming majority of its oil for dollars. No close observers of Saudi Arabia, global trade or the oil industry expect otherwise. The KSA has merely said it is free to accept other currencies. It still strongly prefers dollars.
