It's sobering to realize that even in 2023 there remains a stigma associated with being a school shooter.

Well worth it for the minimal extra bother. When I feel like adding a little extra effort I pick a couple of truffles myself. There's a farmer who has them in a wooded area of his property located only six hours away.

I enjoyed this mini-documentary.

You kind of did.

We need closure, dammit.

@lavenderblues777 😂Future ages will be aghast at our exponentially out-of-control judginess. My pain comes out of the fact I can't really do much against it.

I heard on the news a few years back that a study found that teachers commit more adultery than people in any other occupation. (And btw, I wasn't the least bit surprised.) Does that help?

She should've added salt every step of the way, too. They always do that while calling it 'a little seasoning' or a 'pinch,' but it's really a teaspoon.

The hilarious part was when they said she was raped.

Turned out you were right.

Or a thousand.

And many more.

Three fairly generous offers, but no thanks, I'll pass.

"Dudes"? That's so sexist.

Immanuel Kant: "You've uncovered more ethical truth than I ever could've done, even had I lived another thousand years. Your penetrating moral vision actually humiliates me." Soren Kierkegaard: "Same here, bro. I'm so small now."

The important thing is you're handling it well.

I saw the title and started laughing pretty hard, but I felt so bad I stopped and said "sorry," despite being the only who's awake.

I hear she even eats food that gives her tremendous gas. And doesn't even pipe it into the family furnace. She just sits in front of the TV and lets them rip.

I've got cancer and I've got Alzheimer's. Thank god I don't have cancer.

I can see you're unaware of the proliferation of graduate diploma mills. And I don't mean illegitimate non-schools, I mean well-known institutions cranking out PhDs that aren't really worth the paper they're printed on. Requirements have diminished, standards have been lowered, research has descended into decrepitude, journals debased, entire faculties hollowed out. Professors get candidates to obediently and sycophantically do their work for them; in return the students get a phony degree. In a way I feel sorry for those who really earn their doctorates.

@CuongNguyen-eg1pu Tempted to side with you, except appeals to authority are among the very least significant of the so-called logical fallacies. They don't amount to absolute proof, but in science there's no such thing anyway. Scientific truth is a matter of opinion, and not everyone's opinion is equal. Authorities deserve their say as much as unknown schmucks, anyway.

Outstanding! Just perfect!

I heard an adjective in front of it.
