  35. On the other side of the border here. Earlier this year I tipped 15% pretax on a takeout order, pre-paying when I arrived and it wasn't ready. In fact it was supposed to be waiting for me 5 minutes earlier. I thought Oh, well, this will save half a minute anyway. And I thought 15% was fine for a task identical to a cashier's at the drug store, ringing in four items. Well, she showed me. I waited a further 15 minutes as the kitchen burnt my food at her request, and didn't know till I got home. Lesson learned.

If the US could do the same (proportionately) it would be producing 122 million bbl/day, which is far more than the actual total of the entire world.
