  1. Strange fact: there's no such word as prophesize, in the dictionaries at least. The related words are the verb prophesy (pronounced PROF-ә-sigh), while the noun is prophecy (PROF-ә-see). Btw, I'm not correcting, I'm sharing.🙂

  3.  @robertdewar1752  Not sure I can explain that, since my own online Oxford provided by Apple returns no results for prophesize. The same goes for a number of other dictionaries online, such as the Cambridge. (However, I did have to make an edit concerning spelling (s versus c).😮) Thanks for your reply.
