  1. General Dynamics already cannot address the growing multi-year backlog of orders for F-16s. Anyway, the whole US defence industry is not that big and not that important to the US economy. Apple alone absolutely dwarfs it. The tech, finance and energy businesses are far more vital. Your remark is the sort of thing one would hear at a dive bar next to a factory or 4th-rate university campus.
