  2. The Maidan Revolution was Ukraine's response to Yanukovych's betrayal of his people and Russia's aggressive actions in intimidating Ukraine and seeking to make it a vassal state. Similarly Russia provoked Ukraine in the Donbas by directly backing separatists in 2014: instigating, funding, equipping, supplying, training, advising, even staffing and commanding them. What's not to get?
