  3. They are proceeding carefully with their counteroffensive, which only began a week ago. The goal is not to steamroll Russia right out of the country. That's not possible. The goal is to retake some land, but more importantly to cause Russia to hemorrhage men, weapons and materiel. This is a long game won by spilling Russian blood and destroying their equipment.

  4. Yes, but did you pause to scan that climate table? As he said, the annual average mean is just below freezing, but that summarizes great extremes. The table showed an average daily low in January of -31C and an average daily high in July of 25C. Those are averages and the range is 56C or 100F. The maximum range might be 75C or 135F. Gigantic. EDIT: It's at the 11min50sec mark.
