You should do Edward and George's brother Prince George Duke of Kent. He died in a plane crash in WW2 and was reportedly gay. Lots of mystery and speculation about his life and death.

@diegomorata2885 Why? France, Germany, China, Russia, USA all survive and prosper without a monarch + lots of other European countries manage well following WW2 and removal of monarchy

When Wallis died they held an auction of her jewellery. It was reported that Princess Diana wanted to bid on some Prince of Wales styled pieces, as she was still married to Charles at the time. However she was prevented from doing so by Elizabeth the Queen Mother who hated Wallis.

Theodore Macewko Dr Zhivago is a work of fiction. A novel made into a film - it is not a documentary. You do understand that? And I said prosper as in current times. All countries that ditch their monarchies go through a transition period and then emerge stronger.

@ANASF1683 Yes you are correct all of those countries went through wars, violence, dictatorships. But they have emerged to be productive, prosperous societies without royal families. The UK can do the same. The queen was recently used as a optical tool by prime minister to push through an act deemed illegal by the courts. So either she was complicit or has no power and therefore has no use. Let's not even discuss Prince Andrew and his family.
