Many would argue that countries like America with so many checks and balances and democratic traditions would not allow something like “Patriot Act” or another shady freedom and privacy restricting shit happened. In authoritarian underdeveloped shitholes like Russia it’s just more blatant and stupid. You freedom is under attack constantly.

Most people who “support” the war don’t support it from a practical standpoint or from the point of hatred…they just don’t want to admit Putin has made a strategic mistake and they will have to pay for that. Because if you oppose the war you tend to realize the consequences will be disastrous and your life your well being basically ruined medium or long term.
