  1. Portugal has a great climate and kinda low crime but it’s crazy overpriced when it comes to rent. There are a ton of digital nomads even Americans. There are small Russian digital nomad community located primarily around Cascais. Murricans usually love Porto.

It always amazes me how almost all of those long term rentals in the west have like no furniture whatsoever so I have to buy everything on top of my rent and think what I have to do with all that stuff if I move somewhere else. It’s crazy that furnished apartments are not at least 50% of the market. 90% of Russians would hate invest in anything significant for their rental apt.
