Those Russians who use Gorbachev as a scapegoat call him a traitor and advocate a Chinese type reforms instead of USSR collapse are all plain stupid….the USSR has rejected reforms when they were possible(late 196x-early 197x) so in late 1980x it was already too late…they could have only spilled the blood and make this country a North Korea type gulag. You should have had a Deng Xiaoping type reforms not later than early 197x which your beloved communist party just failed to do.
