  1. Well Russia has to be babysitted by the west after the Cold War the same way West Germany was babysitted after WW2. You have to watch out some negative tendencies don’t re-establish themselves. You can’t blame the Russian people that they didn’t defend their freedom because they got it pretty easy didn’t value it much over material well being and didn’t have any democratic traditions since like 800 years ago in Novgorod Republic. They had a mentality of 10 years old(being a citizen wise). They have to be babysitted and guided.

  2. I’m a Russian, dude Israel was attacked first. That’s the difference. If Ukraine attacked even the annexed Crimea the reaction would have been different probably. But I still believe harassing independent Russians trying to leave to not support authoritarian regime by their taxes in Russia while the West still paying money to Putin and his government cronies for their resources is hypocritical as hell.
