I"m a Russian from Russia but I'd rather vaccinated with a Pfizer vaccine, at least you can get a EU travel pass with it. I believe ethnic russians living in some other former USSR states watch too much russian tv propaganda though it's still kinda strange because many people who watch government tv in Russia actually do not trust the vaccine or vaccination in general.

jay Man nobody knows when the EU as a whole would recognize the Russian certificates, so far only Hungary recognize them. We have no proven data that mDNA vaccines is more of a health risk than Stupnik V or any other vector vaccines. I personally trust those systems with developed checks and balances than a system like Russia or China, how come it's "dumb"?

jay Man I got vaccinated with Sputnik V in February, now they say it's necessary to do it again in 6 month or so...but some people say RE-vaccination with vector vaccines are questionable that's why I would like to do it with a mRNA vaccine and get a EU travel pass along the way. I believe RE-vaccination with a different vaccine makes more sense when it comes to your protection against those new varieties....

Rigoletto Blah I won't agree with your "check and balances" and "pressure groups" point. Of course those things do exists. But in the end there are different interest groups and those countries have more complicated statistics at least. Even in Argentina they have a way more advanced statistics than Russia. In Russia they trying to hide everything, just look at Russia's Covid death numbers for the last month, looks hella suspicious and statistically impossible. No negative info about Sputnik usage, other vaccines included mRNA has reported numerous negative cases but Russia haven't reported anything even minor incidents just to look credible and trustworthy. I'm sure Russian scientists are still capable to make a good vaccine but the system itself is a total mess that even failed to make a trustworthy statistics and report some minor negatives to look more credible.

Do you have a Pfizer vaccine or maybe you can choose what you want in CZ?

Th3o As far as I can understand if I have a trvaly pobyt and VZP insurance I can get vaccinated for free...my friends told me that most places use Pfizer ...what if I want a Moderna vaccine? I'm outside of the country now considering my options...

I didn't feel anything with my Sputnik V vaccination just a light soreness when you rotate your hand

I heard that some of those contracts were terminated by Argentina because Russia couldn't provide enough vaccines because of production limits.

letecmig LOL the thing you telling here is a known phenomena, there are some memes in Russia how a pro-western, liberal emigrant finally crosses the border and suddenly starts to like Russia, Stalin, Putin etc. it's all fun and games but being Russian I kinda feel it myself to a certain extent. The more I live outside of Russia the more secure I feel I wouldn't say I was starting to like Putin but it certainly gives you another perspective of Russia not being that bad. P.S. I don't watch any TV or another type of "patriotic" propaganda.

letecmig maybe the Russian regime hasn't became that harsh yet. I know people from Cuba and Venezuela emigrated to the States usually hate the regime in their homeland. I'm not sure about people from China and Vietnam in Europe. People from Iran those who haven't "burned the bridges" completely could be kinda tolerant to their regime. The Turks in Germany often support Erdogan. Maybe the Russians are not that "uniquely irrational" as you think. If the person was really harassed by the regime he would probably hate it, maybe there are not that many of them yet those who really "escaped" from Russia.
