@lj2265 what’s the point of going to Canada if you are rich? It’s a heavily taxed country, I know many Chinese upper middle class are moving there but for me Canada is a country you can benefit from if you are a highly skilled employee, not an “investor”.

If you mean the same way Finland defeated the Soviet Union then maybe…but Finland has lost 10% of their territory while preserving it’s independence. I don’t think we gonna see Ukrainian tanks in Moscow.

Только потом не ори «а меня то за что», машина остановиться не может ей нужны новые жертвы когда закончатся «враги народа» примутся за тебя и тебе подобных

What authonomy? It’s the same sht. Poland and Lithuania is close but so what…there are the same rules to visit those countries. You could visit Poland without a visa if you had a registration in Kaliningrad but it was before COVID. No it’s not allowed.
2
You can’t renounce a Russian one you have to proof another citizenship is granted for you first. Second you have to visit Russia to get all those confirmations you paid all your taxes and have no obligations you can’t do it remotely.
2
I believe it’s close when it comes to living standards(I’m not including Moscow here it was much better) buts some Argentinian economic regulations sounds crazy and absurd even for a Russian.

Limassol is expensive as hell

There is an electronic visa for Russians granted to pretty much anyone I believe so I believe he can if he wants

Americans didn’t ruin their own economy and didnt get isolated by invading Iraq. Fking Microsoft and Google didn’t have to flee America because they couldn’t work with their foreign customers unlike Russian IT folk, sure some American personal freedoms diminished but it didn’t become a totalitarian country with no perspective other than suffocating anything independent including the economy.
1
You have been focusing on your western freedom problems of course they exists and Russia was better in some separate cases(just because Russians generally don’t give a flying fck including enforcement of something not because they valued freedom.)

The country is super nice and extremely beautiful and people speaks good English there. But it’s also extremely expensive for someone who makes average Eastern European money as a freelancer etc. or even 2-3x of that. I believe you have to make at least €10K per month to feel good in Norway if you have to live in some rental place.

What’s the point of living in Cali if you are a freelancer basically, it’s ok if you are an employee like software engineer or looking for some investments for your big IT project but it makes no sense for a freelancer it’s expensive and you can’t get a resident status as a freelancer like in Portugal, you show them you make €700 per month as a freelancer and you can get your residence permit. Basically the same climate as Cali but much cheaper.

@simoncouture8582 no I’m from Russia

@simoncouture8582 I love Canada when it comes to quality of life etc. it just doesn’t make too much sense for me if I am “rich” …if you are a good skilled worker and want predictable future for your children sure it’s a great choice to get naturalised quickly and get a passport. If you are a farmer it would make sense as well, being a farmer sucks in Russia.

To do that they have to open the digital rouble for anyone in the world with no “compliance” or financial control and they are too cautious and stupid for a game changer like that. Rouble gonna be in ruins in a year or two because it has no competitive advantages.

@RandomUser-om4up Russia has no monopoly over natural resources Russian export volume doesn’t guarantee it’s currency a world status. There a lot of commodity rich countries and their currency share in world trade is close no none. Russia could only win if she hacks the system she can’t win plain by the rules of those countries that have world reserve currency. The only way to hack the system is to provide any available economic agents to transfer money in roubles without any control.

@mcz1037 I believe he could get a political asylum visa even if he hasn’t done anything serious against the regime when he was in Russia. But at this point he needs something like a criminal case opened against him in Russia…some proofs he is in danger to get that…simply getting a transit ticket through the EU and him going to the border control saying “I’m against Putin” won’t work.

I suppose you are a sniper in Battlefield since you are a Finnish LOL

some have on a personal level but their current government don’t want to break with Russia despite some of their their territory been annexed and Russian proxies installed there.
1
Not a chance Ukraine is a big hustle for Putin he has to regroup for at least 5 years even to think of something like Nothern Kazakhstan
1
I believe it’s different in different countries of EU, but generally even if you don’t pay your monthly medical insurance you have some guarantees in a country like Finland or Germany. I pay something like €120 in Czechia per month and I still haven’t used the healthcare once. Hopefully they won’t let me down when I need it.
1
How could you affect it as a regular citizen if like top 20 richest people of Russia who lost a lot of money because of Putin and they can’t do sht about it. No positive changes is possible before the country goes completely bankrupt weak and allows some kind of military coup.
1
2006-2014 or even up to 2022 was a very good time in Moscow and St.Petersburg(in terms of price to quality/service)
1
It will happen with time…the west has missed it’s chance to babysit Russia in the 90’s…so I hope he does the homework and babysit Russia during the next collapse there like they did with Nazi Germany after WW2
1
Welfare state basically harms economic freedoms not “personal freedoms” as much.
1
Do you realize that he needs proofs that his life is in danger to get a political asylum…like a criminal case against him in Russia that gonna be viewed as “political” by the court in the West.

Can you hook me up, I love Bulgaria ;)
