  1. marektln I think China is doing better in that are keeping low profile, getting assets around the world and economic leverage while Russia making too much noise buying politicians for political lobbying and staying a "player" but I'm not sure those investments are effective in most cases.

  2. marektln I think Chinese influence are more practical, they are less prone to lose money in some geopolitical games they can't really afford, while Russia having less than 2% of worlds GDP playing too much of big boy games instead of developing some kind of sustainable economic growth and raising a national economic elite that would consider Russia their home long term.
