  2. Most countries in Europe are also "closed off" by American standards you can't always expect a relaxed small talk even between the locals in local language. You have to know people first and spend some time together then they gonna open up. Even Finns who speak much better English than Russians on average will look "closed off" to Americans.

  4. Ceska Republika?:) As far as I know being on a list of "unfriendly" countries doesn't add any legal repercussions for it's citizens other than the embassy and consular staff is very limited now. Vitame vas v Rusku!
