People still families in Russia, including NHL players that were expressing the opposition point of view in the past are often reluctant now because you really don’t know how much time the regime will hold up and there are certain situations when you have to go back to Russia for family reasons etc. More people gonna speak out as soon as they see the collapse is inevitable and imminent but for now it’s kinda pointless, you burn the bridges but that won’t get millions of people to the streets and overthrow the regime so many famous Russians are still kinda soft on the issue even if they oppose it.

  3. It really depends, people who immigrated to Brighton beach, NY in the 80-90s are barely integrate, those young professionals and families who immigrated to the Silicon Valley lately are integrating just fine.

  5. What accountability do you expect from him? Do you want him to openly blame Russian aggression and declare he wants Russian army to lose? Cmon he has a family in Russia and might be forced to come back before the regime change due to family circumstances. If you have connections in Russia and a potential need to come back the best you can do is saying you are not supporting the thing

  7. Russians love for Finland is a well known phenomena, it’s like one of the least hated countries(I guess for being practical and keeping low profile when it comes to “annoying” the Russian politicians so Finland barely gets any negative propaganda)
