Keeping dollars in a Russian bank account is kinda dumb, they haven’t been paying any significant interest anyway and many smart people were screaming “your dollars will be forcibly converted into roubles using the “patriotic” rate”. Smart people been legalising their income in the West last 10 years at least and got a residence permit or a citizenship by now. Russia was moving toward the hellhole since 2012.
