  1. Yeah but Crimea itself was basically bloodless. The Donbass in 2014 was not but most Russians were convincing themselves it’s not the Russian army but “Russian-backed pro-russian separatists”. Overall people don’t feel the pain if it’s somewhere else, Syria Ukraine or Afghanistan and find their ways to cope.

  2. Yeah isoviha was probably harsh but it was a lot of other things during those times. I guess it’s a bad blood during the 20th century that kept that hate from the Finns going. Germans and French have spilled a ton of blood between themselves but they look like they figured it out eventually.
