  1. The same reason people vote for Trumps and Boris Johnsons in the West. People are tired of those old “establishment” in general ,deep state , government “aristocracy” whatever you called it. There is not a lot of choice in Russia that represent a leader that speaks some trues in world of total lie and kinda feels like some kind of a self made not a traditional hated bureaucrat.
