@riel65ify As a Dutch person, it was my first instinct to say it like that, too. Like Weinberg (Wineberg) or maybe more like "vein". I assume it's "gean"?

THAT's what it sounds like! I couldn't place it, but the mannerisms were very familiar.

@Nerea There's this idea that lawyering up means you're guilty, which is absolutely false. As you say, even innocent people should lawyer up, because people can misspeak and get caught in interrogation traps.

@sadem1045 That is heinous.

It's weird, it's as though sometimes his brain just turns on and manages to get out the crucial information, then it just powers down again. It's also as though he has some kind of aphasia. He reaches for the concept of a projectile firing weapon and says "bow and arrow" while meaning revolver.

Not only that... it must be freaking stinky in there. You can smell a baby, you can be damn sure you can smell her.

Also, there's a clear wound there. AND the detective pointed out a "chunk of the nose was missing".

@Jay Sun You can compartmentalise stuff. Taken out of their gruesome and sad context, their attempts are laughable. It does not make light of the situation, it just takes a close look at a single aspect on its own.

Yeah, it sucks. I have it on a smaller scale and have GOOD reason never to pick my nose again.

Eve behaves like a traumatised animal. That is not meant in a derogatory way, it is genuinely the best comparison I can give. There are videos on YouTube of a guy trying to rehabilitate traumatised dogs and the behaviour of Eve mirrors that of those dogs. The behaviour of the police officers mirrors that of the rehabilitator. The evil you need to inflict on a human to make them behave that way are unimaginable. Sadly, we don't have to imagine it, it was all recorded.

If you combine a super massive weeb with a guy who has serious main character syndrome, you get Russel.

Son of a... as far back as 5 years back? No wonder Madeleine wanted to go live in the woods when she turned 13. That heinous mf'er. "I didnt start it". Yeah, yeah, the 8 year old did. She also put those 35k(!!!) images on that hard drive. He might be referring to something else, but no matter how you slice it: such a complete lack of accountability is outrageous given the stuff he's done and the length of time he's been doing it.

11:20 Noted. Live by the sword, die by the sword? Or are we suddenly more understanding of those weakass liberal points of view you dislike so much. As a liberal myself, I'm more than okay to see you judged by your own professed views, bud.

There's something mind boggling about the fact there's an automated PA system for events such as these.

The behaviour shown by Ruby is just so, so, so weird and petulant. I fully understand the officer asking her if she was having some kind of psychiatric episode. She actually went with the Stephen McDaniel approach. Absolute wackadoodle. I have such a hard time believing Ruby, Jodi and Kevin with all their Devil talk.

Holy Borderline Batman

Every time this asshole insinuates the Jane Doe actually liked it or wanted it... dang... what a vile, vile man.

Remember the case of Ryan Waller? The man shot in his face and being forced to sit through an interrogation? Some people just lock in on something too fast and they do not have the training or insight necessary to help avoid it.

@tj-mb3fy If only the dads stopped letting those single mothers hold the bag all on their own, because they're criminal or just lazy. (This is as much of a generalisation as the nonsense I responded to. The real world is more nuanced, obviously).

I do wonder how Morgan's behaviour compares to stuff folks like Jodi Arias were doing in their rooms when they were left alone.
