I was a little surprised. He explicitly asked for a lawyer, shouldn't it end there?

@michaelpettersson4919 During a session, you cannot undermine the lead. You can maybe indicate you need a break and discuss the strategy outside the room. Any change in approach must be suggested subtly or in private.

"What are ways to make someone disappear?" How do you not respond along the lines of "Are you asking me to fantasise about what may have happened to my wife and children? What could've been done to them while I sit here not knowing where they are and if they're alive or not?" Is it not a massive clue that this dude actually goes along with the guessing game instead of getting distressed by it? Or would even innocent people participate?

Especially as it's superimposed on an image of him hitting his own face repeatedly like the damn troglodyte he is.

Stephanie Lazarus? Man, she even has a name ready to go right into a movie.

That's what you get in a system that does not have the intention to combat recidivism. People make fun of European "hotel jails"... and it can look odd... until you look at recidivism rates.

Might just me seeing things, but did Mike look taken aback or surprised when he learned none of the kids he shot at had any kind of record? In his mind they were thugs after all. With that music.

@DreamyAbaddon Yeah, the OP was being VERY cryptic as to what the actual point was. /s

Man, I was actually in suspense since the part of the jury makeup. I thought that was a lead up to him being acquitted. Good thing it wasn't.

It's important to keep reminding myself that the words "sane" and "insane" must be placed in the legal and medical context. I would rule anyone capable of unprompted, cold-blooded murder insane. It is in itself a sign you are mentally unwell, I'd think. Even more so when the victim is a parent or close relative (barring traumatic/abusive relationships, which make assigning motivation easier. Hence "unprompted".).

Just compare RHonda's demeanour to Mike's. She's distraught and just keeps going in mostly headlines or things that are emotionally charged. Meanwhile, Mike needs to show he's Wyatt Earp reincarnated. Really felt sorry for Rhonda...

A wise man once told me: "Once you talk to the Male Detective, you're not gonna want to come to Jesus" That guy needs to put down his self-help book and cut it out with those platitudes.

Usually... mental exhaustion is a technique employed by the interrogators. Usually. Good lord...

Are the rambling answers by guilty people not also in an attempt to "give the right answer"? I guess that's in the same vein as pleasing the interrogator, but a specific version of it. If you're guilty, you want to give the answer that puts you in the least hot water, so you're in a sense looking for the "right answer".

The switches in tactics from Dalia when she's on the phone with Mike are at breakneck speeds. She goes from a whiny, spoiled almost demeaning "you're not even trying" to crying that she loves him in a heartbeat. And then, to top it off, insisting it's her house... because it's in her name due to an earlier ploy.
