@Brammy007a if the universe is expanding that means it has a beginning that beginning is the big bang which means it has a beginning which means it cannot be infinite. The age of the universe is 13.8 billion years so if the universe is 13.8 billion years old that means it cannot be infinite. We use dark energy and the cmb to measure the age of the universe further proving my point that the universe is not infinite that's how I destroy your argument so no I'm not going to calm down because you're the one that made a ridiculous claim not me and I'm here to refute it!

@Brammy007a I didn't see your comment but you answered your own question do if the cmb and looking qt the oldest stars and galaxies tells us the age of the universe how is the universe infinite? It's not because in order for a universe to be infinite it can't be expanding and that would mean the big bang theory or model is wrong and that there was no beginning of the age of the universe because the universe would have always existed and we wouldn't come up with hypothesis or theories about what happened before the creation of everything.
