@kba3508 I've always been on the Atkins diet, low carb. Spirits with diet mixers are allowed. I always remain in ketosis and lose weight perfectly even with this alcahol. The sugar is eaten up by the yeast during the fermentation process ! I am educated, thank you and I used to be a nurse ! It is you that needs the education !!!

@kba3508 I also make my own wine. I have done so for years. I know very well how fermentation works. The yeast eats up the sugar turning it into alcohol. If you ferment the wine out for a good long time, there is no sugar left, just alcohol. This is why it is accepted on a low carb diet. There are no carbs either in spirits.
