Worth nothing? It has a lovely indoor water feature and a vast sky light. What more could you want? 36k is a bargain if you ask me…

Truly devastating when we erase history, it’s something we should preserve and not destroy for profit. Thank you for appreciating our history Turnip xxx

I’m not sure I appreciate you stealing my sun lounger on the only sunny day we’ve had in weeks… However, it made for a great film, so all is forgiven 😂 p.s it’s nice to see you cleaning up for a change 😉

Smashed it again, my favourite one yet! Even though the town is boarded up, I think it speaks well of the people there that nothing is smashed up, unlike places in your other videos. The town seems to have a lot of pride in itself which is nice. Can’t wait for you next one 🥰

Another amazing video, each one you put out is my new favourite. Love the history aspect. It’s such a shame to see the pubs left abandoned xxx

“Unknown help me” 😂, your love of chimneys and their “lovely bottoms” is infectious! You’re right they’re so beautiful. Behind bars sounds like you’ve spent some time in the slammer. Happy 100,000, it’s so well deserved! I look forward to all your future videos and your new channel, yeah love that! P.s poem was beautiful x

Susan Cooper / Bradley Boyle! Lincoln looks lovely, looked to have Tudor, Palladian, and Gothic styles! Added to my visit list. Thanks Turnip! Glad to have you back ❤

I haven’t paid in cash in months, I don’t carry a bag or purse anymore. I keep my card in my phone case. I noticed the other day at Aldi, the women before me at the till asked “is it ok if I use cash?” And I thought that was funny, as I always used to ask “is it ok if I pay card?”. There is definitely a stigma around paying cash that we need it breakdown

Well deserved recognition 👏🏼

Another great film Turnip, everyone was so lovely! Loving this series 😊 xx

Great video, Dibnah should rest easy knowing there’s people like you around keeping industrial history alive!
11
I really miss happy valley so this fix was really needed, great video! Thank you 🙏🏼 The Lindsay murder is really sad, hopefully more exposure will dig up vital information and bring her family some closure x
11
Adrian Welsh should pay you for this video lol. Hamster house was my fave, indoor waterfall and a home for lots of rodents… what more could you ask for?

What a lovely guy, lovely furniture, and lovely new series! Just bloody lovely. My favourite video of yours so far. I loved peeping into the workshop of a furniture maker. Keep it up Turnip xx

You’re so talented, beautiful music, poem and narrating as per 😊 xx

Consumer culture is crazy!! Great rant Turnip, you’re the best ❤❤❤

Incredibly sad seeing a piece of history destroyed in seconds, especially for new builds

Growing up we had a chippy at the end of our road, Tudor chippy. Every Friday my sister and I would go and collect everyone’s orders, I was partial to a dab butty with chips and gravy (couldn’t finish the full fish as a kid). I remember when I changed my order to fish and felt really grown up. Back then a dab butty would cost you about 60p, I bought one a couple months back and it cost about £3, insane! Great video turnip, you can tell how much time, effort, and research went into it. Keep up the good work, you’re best video to date! Xxx
7
Great video from my favourite street historian, Happy New Year Turnip!! 🎉❤

I’m loving this series, so wholesome and heart warming. You can tell you make people feel really at ease in your presence, great interview x
6
Great content, very well done 👏🏼

This is my fave video yet. It would have been amazing to watch these walls being built, the techniques used date all the way back to the Iron Age
6
I’d love to go back in time and watch what the farmer family lived like in this house. Happy it’s been reclaimed by the cows. Great video as per x
5
I’ve got to admit, Blackpool is not one of my favourite places but Duncan’s attitude and outlook is infectious. Very lovely to see the donkey rides are a family business. Another great video turnip and nearly 100k! P.S very glad you’ve started doing ads, you deserve to be paid well for the content you provide 😊
5
I’m assuming you know the reason it failed the first time? Just because something failed before doesn’t mean it cannot be a success. I think the amount of work that has gone into it and the challenges they have faced, is a testament to longevity of the pub
5
Really enjoyed this one, we live in such a beautiful part of the world xxx
4
Another great video! Never heard of digital nomads before, that’s so cool! So glad to see people redoing the old building rather than building new ❤
4
That’s crazy, a whole holiday community lost to the sea 🌊 I at least hope the fish are getting lucky on the slots. Great video Turnip, hopefully the council gets it sorted x
4
Your video making skills keep getting better and better! Your best video yet. I truly felt like I’d been to the pub. What a lovely community. Different people of different ages, all clearly have a lot of love for each other. Wonderful to see 🥰 keep em coming Turnip xxx

The Christmas tree shop was so earie but the caves were brilliant! I’d love to see them. I’m looking forward to your revisit with a local tour guide!! Another great video turnip, I love your videos xx

I’m glad you proved the doubters wrong and showed everyone that you don’t have an agenda. You’re a talented documentary maker. Rob was great, you make a lovely duo. Another fantastic video, the church pub looked very inviting!Keep up the good work handsome turnip xx
3
5p an hour is pathetic! Loved this video turnip, it’s so sad to see the pubs keep failing. I’d have taken that photo if I was you, looked like a proper piece of history. Keep up the good work! X P.s show more of Ted!!
2
Great video, you’re drone work is getting so good
2
Not when you’re from the North it’s not 😃
2
It was all booze, Muslims don’t drink
2
Another great video, loved the master Cutler and the Titanic panelling! You’re a historian of the streets, can’t wait to see what else you do xx
2
“Nothing fanceh just FISH” Loved this brick hunt Turnip, very entertaining. Dare I say, you’re best vid yet?! 🎉😊
2
We need to adopt the attitude of the French, riot until they bring the prices down
2
Your videos bring well needed attention to these places and with any hope, they may ignite some change. You manage to put a positive spin on everything. Love your channel ❤
2
William Herschel discovered my what?? There are some beautiful buildings, it’s such a shame these awful glass/metal curved buildings are littering the sky line! Also US office is the better office. I am very impressed by the big Tesco!
2
Great video! Those rates are alarming, definitely needs reform!
2
I am in agreement with you, please never take me to a hotel like this 😂
2
£287,500 is actually a pretty good deal for rodent droppings. Another great video turnip, very well researched and very entertaining as always xx
2
God it must be so anxiety inducing having your house to close to the edge. Very difficult to give up that beautiful view in order to save your livelihood. Great video, looking forward to more of the series. Not surprised Tory Britain have cut funding
2
P.s your chimney was great
2
“Stone is stronger than shoe” Turnip you are my favourite philosopher, but what about a shoe made of stone? Lovely video by a lovely root vegetable man!!
1
One of your best videos yet Turnip, so interesting 🥰
1
I don’t think the last house will ever be topped, but if anyone can find a worse house, it’s you
1
So refreshing to see people genuinely love and care for their town despite the negative going ons there. Lots of positivity coming out of this place. Thanks for showcasing Turnip ❤ xx
1
Another great video Turnip!
1
I never knew about leasing issues before, buying a house with 80 year lease is crazy! Would be very hard to sell on, or come to terms with the fact that after you’re gone, your life’s investment cannot be passed onto loved ones.
1
@Terry Jackson sure am, you little rascal
1
What a crying shame, in an age where characterless new builds are erected here, there, and everywhere! Mikey channelled his anger/grief into something productive and created something beautiful. Yes, there are regulations in place for a reason but the council don’t seem to want to work with him or recognise his efforts or potential. It’s so sad! Great video turnip, you always show us the most interesting things!
1
Your talent as a documentary maker shines through this video! So well researched, curated, entertaining, and knowledgeable! Your time and effort paid off, one of my favourites to date ❤
1
Gary Graham Daniels ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼 I haven’t had a satellite for about 4 years!!
1
There’s so much the government could do to assist with properties like this. Buy them, create schemes for under privileged to do them up, learn a skill and have a share in sale price / live there for little money etc.
1
Another great video! I love Paris, so really enjoyed watching your cultural observations. Glad to see you’re getting about. Can’t wait for the next one :) thanks Turnip xx
1
Best video yet Turnip, you’re a breath of fresh air ❤❤
1
I never liked shopping in Leeds, far too spread out. Very hard to navigate if you’re not overly familiar. Didn’t realise how much was going on until this video. Also, you missed an opportunity to call it a ‘fakery’. Great video, looking forward to the future made in Britain episodes
1
He’s got an earlier video about Halifax, I believe it was his first death of the high street
