  1. We all need to work on that. I got very depressed yesterday evening when I saw the polling in Islington North, with Labour way ahead, not because people don’t like Corbyn but because they pay no attention whatsoever to politics, even if naturally left leaning. In some ways I can hugely empathise because the politics we see on TV is such a turn off. We need to do better than that.

  2.  @marijo1951  - yes, the opting out over Brexit was very weak. I know he was being pulled from both sides and some have never forgiven McDonnell for supporting Remain. Corbyn, however, was leader and should have shown a strong Another Europe is Possible type stance. Nevertheless I’d support him in every other way. I’m in Rachel Reeves constituency so have already voted Green by post. My son is thinking of voting Lib Dem because he doesn’t like the Green’s attitude to nuclear power.
