What Dick Scott is not saying is that most of the jobs created in Florida are part-time, low-wage and with limited or no benefits...the state was hit hard by the subprime mortgage crisis of 2007-08 (probably the worst-hit state) as well as the oil spill, it recovered a little bit but the cost of living is still too high and wages are stagnant, made worse by an oversaturated labor pool
