+Rusty Shackelford how exactly is it such a huge hassle if someone steals and uses your credit card info? You call your bank, they cancel and reissue the card, and they give you your money back. Someone takes cash from you on the other hand, and you're SOL. But with a comment like "If you take my cash, I'll just go to the ATM and get more" ...I guess you really don't mind people taking cash from you huh?

None of the people in this video were profiled. Neither the police nor the ABC anchor approached any of the people involved until AFTER they had returned from the hiking trail (from their walking or jogging). When he said "you don't appear to be handicapped" he was not referring to their outward appearance, he was referring to the fact that he had just witnessed them (off-camera) walk to and from the hiking trail to perform their exercise.

@Daniel_Robinson the AG's office not being able to track down and prosecute these companies because they "change their names" is a LAME and WEAK excuse...if I were to fail to file a tax return and tried changing my name and skipping town, the IRS would track me down all the way to Mozambique if they had to

I clicked on this video thinking it was the 2019 strike...I had no idea there had been a previous strike 7 years ago! (I moved to Chicago a year and a half ago).

Because nobody wants to take responsibility or accountability in today’s society. So criminals and their (foster) mothers always play the mental illness card, and say my boy isn’t a monster, he’s a good kid, the system failed him etc etc etc.
5
Ironically James Cameron is the first person I thought of when the story of this submersible first broke.
5
@alisha8586 uh-ohhhh. Looks like someone got triggered. As Palpatine said in ROTJ, "I can feeeeeeel your anger, the hate is swelling in you" . What's the matter Leeshie? Aren't you gonna call me a rathist now?
5
It’s not your opinion, it’s facts
5
@markmott1047 I have a feeling that my comment triggered you. Ruh-roh.
5
@FtanmoOfEtheirys it actually did happen. Google "Sarah Chambers, Chicago Teachers' Union". Next time try to think before you post.

@Mscookie3131 orders from WHO nitwit? A 911 dispatcher is not a cop or a judge, they're telephone operators. 911 dispatchers don't give "orders", okay? Who said he was bothering Martin? He followed him for a short distance and then lost sight of him. Martin is the one who got to within 50 feet of his front door but then turned right around and started the fight. But why should we hold Martin responsible for his own actions when it's so much easier to blame some white man or some orange man. Ohhhh, poor sweet little oppressed 10 year-old Trayvon, he was just literally carrying an iced tea and some Skittles before this racist white supremacist Zimmerman came along and ambushed him.
5
@politicalstatus197 exactly, if the speed limit was 140 mph, we would still have idiots wanting to go 150.
5
+Tea Tea oh puhlllease...stop trying to defend her, the woman was obviously faking it
5
+Legendary Atom that last comment went completely over your head. I don't carry cash at all, except occasionally change for the laundry. That was my point. smh

Wanna know what causes this whole problem? California law does not require reauthorization of handicapped placards. If you have a handicapped placard, the state automatically mails you a new one every couple of years when they expire. This means decals often get sent to people who may have had some disability in the past but who no longer have one. Or, they get sent to elderly citizens who have recently died, and their children or grandchildren take it and use it. That law needs to change.
4
@jediknightjairinaiki560 you sound like the type who would defend a convenience store robber by saying "Hey, no big deal...Wall Street steals from us every day"
4
Remember when the Democrats said this would ruin his public image. Yet his poll numbers are in the stratosphere.
4
@elisekuby2009 you and me BOTH Elise! 😡

Limbaugh never even offered an apology until his sponsors starting dumping him
4
@robertlamb759 I lived in Arizona (Phoenix) and then moved to Texas (San Antonio)... almost right away I noticed that Texans were much more polite and patient drivers than the idiots in Arizona
4
Absolutely right. Also read about Samantha Josephson and the way she was killed - brutal, brutal, brutal.

When you base your entire economy on tourism, you're going to get hit hard anytime there's even the mildest of recessions. When will Florida and Nevada ever learn?
4
@nunook5522 that’s what was reported, but I have a hard time believing most of what the media says. If this kid had been shot in the head from point-blank range, he wouldn’t even be here, and that old man would be scraping up pieces of brain from his front porch. What exactly happened? Did the old man shoot him with a BB gun or something?
4
@alfredindy8058 where does it say he was shot with a .22 round? Show me. I've looked in at least 20-30 different articles about this damn case. The media has everything from the kid's grade-point average to the musical instrument he plays, but they've said very little about his injuries, and nothing at all about the type of ammo used by the old man. .22 rounds like .22 LR, .22 Short or .22 WMR are pretty small and weak. If I'm a prosecutor I'm gonna have a hard time proving that the old man was out to kill.
4
@alfredindy8058 lol, yeah probably This dude is so old I doubt he’d be able to handle the recoil from anything greater than a .22 anyway

Often criminals will rummage through trash bins, find a receipt, enter the store and then grab the item off the shelf and attempt to “return” it. But this becomes difficult to pull off if the true customer paid with a card because merchants will only issue refunds to the same card originally used to make the purchase.

@tylerbenton4495 bro you must have a hammer cuz you hit the nail right on the head 🔨 …..you must be an ordained minister cuz you’re preachin’ …you must be peanut butter cuz you SKIPPY 👊🏻
4
@pamelapope859 lol fair enough. 🤣 Well at least you weren't drunk as a skunk while you were typing, unlike our friend the Little Mermaid from this news story
4
@secondarycontainment4727 Martin actually referred to Zimmerman as a "creepy-ass cracker". MSNBC of course never reported this fact. But if Zimmerman had used the n-word it would've been in a giant banner on CNN's website and meanwhile Joy Reid would've been having a conniption fit.
4
Every single time Al Sharpton delivers a eulogy, a funeral doesn't even look like a funeral - it looks like a political rally.
4
rajaitimad tell me about it. I mean does Cramer have ANY credibility left? After the way he was telling everybody that Bear Stearns would be just fine and then a week later, BOOM they go belly-up. And now we find a clip of him plugging this train wreck of a start-up by some college dropout with no medical background.
4
@nunyadambidnis2274 I'd call it a tie, they ought to be cell mates
4
@johnc3539 I can see English is definitely not your first language, since you don’t know the difference between your and you’re …please tell me they didn’t give you a high school diploma

@teresamarie7460 one of the old man's next-door neighbors noticed Yarl pull into the driveway and became alarmed because the old man had very few visitors at all, let alone any at night. The neighbor I think called police because he/she was used to seeing the house in darkness at that time of night (the old man was asleep every night by 8-8:30pm). According to Yarl's parents, Yarl forgot to bring his cell phone with him. This provides an important clue about what may have happened. Since Yarl he had no way of calling or texting his friends to say "Hey I'm here, come outside yo!" that means he probably started banging and pulling on the door to gain entry. That's probably what startled the old man. I'm not sure I believe Yarl's statement that he knocked once quietly and then waited a long time. That doesn't make sense. If he was sure it was the address, he would be impatient to see his friends. Something had to startle the old man and make him think he was being burglarized. Of course, all these race-baiters want you to think that he's a "MAGA white thupremathist racist fascist Trump thupporter" who went to bed hoping that he would be woken up in the middle of the night so he could shoot an intruder. "Oh Sean shut up, you're just a rathist!"
4
@tamiyahabiyah6983 siblings ...okay fine, I stand corrected.
4
3:29 The only reason the neighbor notified the authorities is because he''s a NIMBY who doesn't like people parking on his quiet little street. He wouldn't have cared one iota about this had it been occurring in a different neighborhood in a different state.
3
@jediknightjairinaiki560 yeah I kinda felt like you would have an answer like that. Do you even have a clue what you're talking about? So I guess you're the type who would loot a store and use that as your justification.
3
@jediknightjairinaiki560 are there any laws you even care to follow? Doubtful.
3
@jediknightjairinaiki560 another Liberal soyboy who probably goes around screaming to defund the police, until some Trump supporter confronts him on the street and makes him all nervous...then all of a sudden he's screaming for the boys in blue to come to his aid LOL
3
Jedi Knight Jairin Aiki btw please don’t try to tell me ”I’m not a Liberal” because I hear this almost every day
3
Jedi Knight Jairin Aiki whaddya know? Just like I thought you would say...
3
If you ask me, jugging operations are ALWAYS inside jobs. Authorities need to focus on the bank tellers.
3
@PlatinumHustle Ha! I knew it! I knew there'd be one 🤣
3
He's just a lazy, self-entitled piece of garbage who doesn't care to do his job. Those are your tax dollars at work people.
3
Sure I remember. Because I still call him an idiot now.
3
@jmm4405 gotta go easy on KJS257 Inc Pen...he's just starting out learning to read and write but he's making some progress. He knows how to say "Just say you're racist and go on" and also "That isn't what happened ya dummy" ...but by next month he'll know how to write a complete paragraph.
3
@GuyFromTheSouth I looked over this thread three times and I see no mention of Donald Trump's name. And btw, everyday I see Teabaggers posting comments about Obama on these boards (going on three years since he left the White House) so don't act like you're the victim here.
3
What does that mean? Injured brain?
3
PFFFFFT. The man is 84 years old and you clowns are characterizing him as a menace to society, lmao. The only thing this old man is a threat to, is the last case of Ensure sitting on the shelf at Walgreens. Interesting how the OP intended this comment as sarcasm, the irony is lost on him. 😂
3
I'm not saying I think Scott Peterson is innocent, but I always found it remarkable that they managed to convict the guy despite no physical evidence (all the evidence was circumstantial) and meanwhile OJ Simpson walked like an Egyptian.
