Aside from all the homicides, the job market here in Chicago SUCKS especially if you are white, male and heterosexual (since most employers here are staunchly Affirmative Action) I clearly made a mistake moving here. Now where do I go?

@alexconrad4280 Ohio? Depends what part. Not Cleveland for sure (it's the mistake by the lake). Toledo is another sh--hole. Columbus or Cincy maybe. Cincy gets a bump rap for being a Mason-Dixon border town but it's affordable to live in at least.

@alexconrad4280 but how's the job market there? I lived in Fargo ND for six years and it's a medium-sized city with a strong job market and low crime, the police have so little to do there that they'll stop you for spitting on the sidewalk. It's one of the disadvantages of living in a place with low crime. I got pulled over there more times than I can think of, I was once even breathalyzed even though I didn't drink at the time.

@alexconrad4280 thanks for the advice 👍🏻 Even though Ohio isn’t my first choice, I still have to keep my options open. I still think Cincinnati gets such a bad rap. When I was there I was impressed by the scenery and the infrastructure (so many bridges). But they wouldn’t like me in Ohio because I’m a Wolverines fan. 😂
