I'd like to speak to the BONEHEADED Sam's Club cashier who allowed a purchase of $17K worth of gift cards with no questions asked. I work retail and I REFUSED a sale just last week to an elderly lady who was haggling over the price of a $7 bottle of body wash , while she was trying to buy two $200 gift cards, despite her insistence that it was legitimate. Anytime anyone is buying more than $150-$200 worth (or so) of prepaid cards, you should always aggressively question the customer, and anything over $1000 (or so) means either the customer is a thief or is being scammed by thieves. Use common sense.

At what point are reparations considered paid and final? We've handed out Affirmative Action, diversity quotas, food stamps, welfare...when is enough enough?

Actually, if you buy $17K in gift cash cards, banks will report that to the IRS too.

@truthboomertruthbomber5125 very possible. I know that anytime there's a "jugging" at a bank, one of the tellers is always, always in on it.

Thieves steal PINs as well, Joel. You wouldn't believe how stupid people tend to be when it comes to safeguarding their personal data, whether it's their SSN, DOB, or bank card information.

@kendallhughes7507 you don't think thieves will figure out a way to get around that?

I can't believe 9 people upvoted this comment. Ludicrous. I worked at a bank for three years, so I know everything about this.

@joeldriver-sp2rg there are many ways...phishing schemes for example, people are dumb enough to give it away. You're naive if you think we can stop credit card theft simply by giving people a four or five digit code. Criminals will never cease to be resourceful and people will never case to be gullible and stupid.

I spent three years working for a bank and every day, over and over and over again I would have to listen to people tell me how "embarassing" it was that they had their cards declined. I always wanted to say to them "Jesus Jones people, nobody is pulling your pants down...if getting your card declined is the worst thing that has happened to you all day then it sounds like you've had a pretty damn good day to me".

@Joseph-lr3lt "apparently never" is correct. The Left will never be satisfied, they will always find something to b*tch about.
