  1. The class size thing is a just a smokescreen. What those greedy teachers really want is higher salaries and more generous benefits, but they always throw in a bunch of other demands (like school nurses, school psychiatrists, SRO’s, etc.,) to cloud the issue and make it look like they’re doing it for the students when they’re really just looking out for themselves.
