Southwest is going to have to adopt the “hub and spoke” system that all other airlines use - without a central hub, their airplanes and crews are all scattered around the country and now have to deadhead back across one or two cities. This a ridiculous way for them to operate and I’m surprised they haven’t had issues similar to this before.

@charlieramz3126 no, SWA has no hub. They use a point-to-point system, the idea behind which is that you save fuel and time by not having to run all your flights back to where they came from, but the drawback with this method is that you sacrifice organization.
