@jacklan4103 the woman at 2:08 is a construction project manager for goodness sake. The median annual salary for this job is $91,000 (!!!) ...and here she is fretting about when her unemployment checks are going to kick in. And she doesn't live in San Francisco or Manhattan or some other high-priced area -- she lives in North Carolina. You're telling me she hasn't been able to save anything after her rent/mortgage and student loans?

@flingshot3550 Oh cry me a river would you? I earned $30K last year (would you like to see my tax returns?) and yet I never missed a single rent payment (my rent is $825, I live in Chicago and do not own a car). Like many others, I was laid off from my job back on March 24 due to the pandemic and collected UI benefits for a few weeks before finding another job in a retail store. "maybe she has a bunch of kids she has to raise" --> if she has a "bunch" of kids then maybe she should consider using something called "birth control" if the "bunch" is getting to expensive for her to provide for. If she does have kids she gets huge tax breaks (which childless people like me have to foot the bill for). "$91k is honestly not that much" --> are you KIDDING me? She lives in North Carolina, not San Francisco! $91K is a LOT of money in North Carolina and mind you that's just the MEDIAN salary for her profession (she could be making a lot more than that based on seniority). She's not a retail clerk living paycheck to paycheck, so I find it insulting that she's on TV making herself out to be destitute. Gimme a break!
