  1. Absolutely right. I HATE it when people try to blame this on "mental illness". For one thing, it absolves the perpetrator of all responsibility, and second, it's disrespectful to all people who do suffer from a genuine mental illness and don't engage in this type of behavior.

  3. Spare us the sob stories Gretchie. There are many recovering alcoholics who seek help. There are many recovering drug addicts who have sought help. These people don't WANT help, other than cash to get more druggs. They don't want to get clean and sober and they don't want to work for a living.
