  1. @a a no that is NOT true. I live in Chicago, and large retailers like Aldi and Whole Foods Market have opened stores in high-crime neighborhoods (like Englewood) only to later close those stores after a couple of years (we know why). If shrinkage affects a large retailer like Whole Foods (which is owned by Amazon) then you know what it does to an immigrant from India or Honduras surviving off a secured loan.
