+Paco Vasda no, YOU'RE the one who is wrong. Glen is correct. Stop being an apologist for criminals. Most laws are based on common sense and/or on everything that we learned from the time we were children (i.e. don't lie, don't cheat, don't steal, and don't harm others). These people KNOW what they are doing is wrong and they are only sorry after/if they are caught. The problem is that the penalties for many crimes often aren't severe enough for people not to take that risk. There's a reason why countries like Saudi Arabia don't suffer from theft.

73challenger5031 even if you do have family members who are handicapped, you still need to have a handicap placard. There's an application that needs to be filled out and an annual fee that needs to be paid. Not to mention the fact that some states require an annual doctor's visit to verify that the physical handicap is ongoing. My question for you is - why don't you have one? That's like saying "Well I don't need a Driver's License because I'm clearly old enough to drive". The old guy who followed you was within his right to be upset, and if a law enforcement officer had caught you, you still would've been ticketed.

The concept of "educating" the public is baloney. The people who do this KNOW (damn well) that what they're doing is wrong, and the only thing they're sorry about is getting CAUGHT.

Robert Hughes watch the language bud. Jodi Stanton my point was that even people with legitimate handicaps need to go through the formal application and review processes; this is necessary to reduce fraud and misuse.
