There’s no such thing as “price gouging”. I’m happy to discuss this issue with you. The price of everything in the world reflects the highest price that consumers are willing to pay for it and the lowest price at which businesses are willing to sell it. So-called “price gouging” minimizes hoarding and encourages rationing. It is basically the best way to ensure an equal and fair distribution of resources during a time of scarcity, and that is basically what the entire science of economics deals with.

@COO113 price gouging has NOTHING to do with inflation, moron. Inflation is a reduction in purchasing power of the dollar. Price gouging means companies raising prices in response to a sudden spike in demand. These two have nothing to do with each other. The fact that you swallowed the White House's pathetic attempt to link these two things shows your blind partisanship to Creepy Joe and your ignorance of basic economics. @COO113 how about: *cutting wasteful government spending *tax cuts *deregulation *increasing domestic energy production and more independence from foreign sources of oil …MOST IMPORTANTLY, Republicans would never have allowed inflation to get to this point in the first place, nitwit ”no Sean you’re still avoiding my question wahhhh wahhhh!
