  3. If Florida is such a model for prosperity how come it led the nation in foreclosures after the 2008 subprime crisis? How come Floridians carry more credit card debt than any other state? How come wages in Florida are among the lowest of all 50 states and unemployment insurance pays the 3rd-lowest and has the shortest duration of any other state?

  4. Exactly. I’m a conservative Trump supporter but Florida is hardly a model of prosperity to be emulated by other states. Just a low-tax state that spends little or nothing on social services and expects tourists and snowbirds to foot the bill for everything else. Great place if you’re a wealthy retiree or heir to a seven-figure estate, horrible place if you’re an average working Joe (not named Biden).
