@meroinheroin what are you talking about? Florida has never had a state income tax (the state constitution prohibits one). Florida’s base sales tax is 6 percent. If you’re paying 9 percent then I’m guessing you must be in Hillsborough (?) where they charge an extra 3 percent. Did I guess right?

@Blaze6432 you’re exactly right. People move to Florida thinking life is just going to be a day at the beach and boy are they in for a rude awakening. Like you said, not all of the state is expensive mansions on tropical beaches. There are a lot of small towns there that are very poor. Where do you live Blaze? …are you “blazing” a trail? 😂😂 lol

@meroinheroin lol, well yes, everybody pays federal tax no matter what state they live in (and even if they live and work in a foreign country).
