  3. Atomicpenguin Bush had 8 years to get Bin Laden and he couldn't get it done. I love it how Republicans give a Democratic president the full blame for anything that is perceived to be bad, but when something good happens it is the result of Bush. Or Reagan.

  4. +James Reaves If Bin Laden had been captured or killed during the Bush administration, Republicans would've been saying it was all the work of the White House.   Instead, it happened under a Democrat and Republicans (predictably) whine that the President had nothing to do with it. This is nothing but more partisanship and please don't insult our intelligence by attempting to claim otherwise.

No, the problem is that Republicans attribute any good results that occur under a Democratic president to the last preceding Republican president, but they happily pin the bad results on the incumbent when the incumbent is a Democrat. When Clinton was president and we had a boom, the Republicans were screaming that it was because of Reagan. By that same logic,  Nixon would've been responsible for what was happening under Jimmy Carter and Bush Jr would be responsible for anything bad that has happened/is happening under Obama. Oh I forgot! We're not allowed to mention Bush's name or attribute anything to him since he left office -- except of course when Bin Laden was killed. That was all because of Bush. Right? Right!
